- The Falls Church JOBS! Ministry provides spiritual and practical support to those in job or career transition.
- All are welcome regardless of faith background (or lack thereof).
- Classes and services are free(donations are accepted). Pre-registration is not required.
- We also assist other churches in the establishment of similar programs.
"Success Rate"
People sometimes ask: "What's your success rate?" or "How many of your people get jobs?" The fact is, most of our participants do get jobs. But our reply is that we look past the job. Our Real success is when someone says: "When I came to this ministry, the only thing that mattered to me was getting a job. Now I realize getting my life right with the Lord is the most important thing. Getting a job is a secondary benefit, an important benefit to be sure, but definitely secondary."
A Brief History
The concept for the JOBS! Ministry arose from a realization that there were those in the church who were out of work but unable to tell anyone about their plight, let alone seek help. Some were in dire financial distress. Others were emotionally and spiritually exhausted.
The program was established to minister to their needs. It soon became clear that others who were currently employed but were seeking changes in their jobs or careers also needed assistance.
The JOBS! Ministry began formal classes in May 1992. Since its inception, thousands of people have joined with the JOBS! Ministry and become part of our family.
